TEEN ENGLISH · AGES 13–16

Serious English without making learning feel like a chore.

A structured pathway that helps teenagers communicate confidently, progress toward B2 and build English they can use at school, online and in the wider world.

THE GOALA1 → B2

Beginners can complete the core pathway in approximately two years.

COMING FROM KIDS LOVE ENGLISH?

Take a level assessment and continue from the appropriate point.

WHO IS IT FOR?

For teenagers starting out—and teenagers ready to keep going.

Students ages 13–16 can enter as beginners or join at a higher level after placement. Kids Love English graduates do not automatically restart: they are assessed and continue where their demonstrated proficiency places them.

THE CORE PATHWAY

Four levels. One clear destination.

A1

Foundation

Build essential vocabulary and structures and begin communicating.

A2

Everyday English

Handle more everyday situations and understand more spoken and written English.

B1

Independent User

Express ideas, understand main points and communicate with growing independence.

B2

Upper-Intermediate

Communicate with greater fluency, detail and confidence across a wide range of situations.

Approximately two years from A1 to B2 for students following the full beginner pathway. Actual progression depends on placement, attendance, practice and demonstrated proficiency.

WHAT THEY BUILD

English for real teenage life.

Speaking

Express opinions, tell stories, discuss ideas and interact naturally.

Listening

Understand increasingly natural speech, conversations and media.

Reading

Comprehend longer texts and read with greater independence.

Writing

Organize ideas and communicate clearly in increasingly developed texts.

Accuracy

Build grammar and vocabulary while continuing to communicate.

Confidence

Become more willing to use English instead of only knowing about it.

THE NEW STAR DIFFERENCE

The teacher stays at the center.

Teenagers attend live teacher-led classes throughout the week. Technology and AI can extend practice between sessions, but they do not replace instruction, correction, interaction or the relationship with the teacher.

AFTER B2

B2 is a milestone, not the ceiling.

Students can continue toward C1/C2 or focus on conversation, listening and speaking, reading and writing, grammar, pronunciation, or exam preparation.
